Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies and his staff have been absent from training at the Championship club.
This follows the news that Billy Davies is reportedly facing the sack and that Neil Warnock had a meeting with the Nottingham Forest owners on Sunday.
Warnock, 65, has previously guided both Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers to the Premier League but currently finds himself unemployed having failed to do the same at previous club Leeds United.
Pre season promotion favourites Nottingham Forest lost 5-0 to Derby on the weekend and are currently sat in 7th, two points off the play offs.
Forest are winless in eight and nine points off Saturday’s opponents Derby who are third and a staggering 26 points behind enemy Leicester who are currently top of the tree
It is understood that Neil Warnock will be appointed imminently and Ronnie Jepson will become part of the backroom staff along with Keith Curle, former manager at arch rivals Notts County.
